Eldridge, who is exploring a run for the 19th Congressional District
in 2014, attended the Chatham Dems Mid Campaign Brunch earlier this month. The
event was attended by close to 50 people interested in meeting Eldridge and
hearing what Democratic candidates for Chatham Town Council had to say. Candidates
Kandace Eaton and Landra Haber who are retired and will be able to devote more
time to Chatham’s governance believe “There is need to pump new life into
Chatham’s economy”.Left
